Manufacturing Subsidiary of SFTC Ukrinterenergo
On 14.07.2008, by the Order No. 373 of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine the decision on takeover of Kaluska CHP State Enterprise by SFTC Ukrinterenergo was approved.
Kaluska CHP fulfils the task of steam supply for manufacturing facilities of the region, along with the thermal energy for heating and hot water supply of industrial and residential complex, as well as electricity supply to the electric power system.
The following main equipment is installed at Kaluska CHP:
- four power-producing pulverized-coal-fired ÒÏ-87 boilers st. No. 1-4 (capacity 420 t/h each), joint production of Taganrogsky Boiler Plant and the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, commissioned: st. No. 1 and 2 - in 1967;
st. No. 3 - in 1968; st. No. 4 - in 1969. - two ÏÒ-50-130/13 turbogenerator sets st. No.1 and 2 manufactured in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and two Ð-50-130/13 turbogenerator sets+ st. No.3 and st. No.4 produced by the Leningradsky Metal Plant, commissioned as follows: st. No.1 and 2 - in 1967; st. No.3 - in 1968; st. No.4 - in 1969.
The installed electric power of Kaluska CHP is equal to 200 MW, thermal power - 590 Gcal/h.
At present, CHP is supplying electricity to Energorynok State Enterprise, the heat power to JSC Lukor petrochemical complex and to the town of Kalush (Vodoteploservice Utility Enterprise).
The CHP is a part of Burshtyn TPP Island operating in parallel mode with interconnected power system of European countries ENTSO-E.
