Repair works 2015 commenced at Kaluska CHP


On 31 May 2015 at 12:14, in the framework of preparations for the next heating season and in order to carry out a complex of measures for repair of the main equipment of Kaluska CHP, the plant’s main equipment was taken out of operation.


The planned shutdown was made under the order of SFTC Ukrinterenergo dated 29.05.2015 on repair and preparations for the heat deficit period.


Overhaul of boiler No 1, repair of turbogenerator TG-2 with generator stator coil replacement and other operations have been scheduled.


Besides, by equipping the boilers with combustion safety apparatus the company plans to minimize the natural gas combustion.


According to the plan, the repair works will continue until 16 October 2015.
This year, Ukrinterenergo assigned almost UAH 55 million for repair operations.


The main goal of Kaluska CHP staff is to stick to the schedule of repair works and ensure their high quality for the plant’s future reliable operation.
