On December 22, 2009 the grand meeting of Ukrinterenergo’s staff dedicated to celebration of professional holiday -
the Power Engineer’s Day was held. At the meeting the preliminary results of the expiring year, including the company’s achievements in production and in social life of the staff members, were traditionally summed up. At the beginning of the festive occasion the director Mr. Valentyn D. Bondarenko delivered a speech of welcome and informed on the company’s operating results for 2009. He thanked the staff members for their good performance and wished everyone success, new achievements, confidence in the future, health and prosperity.

Then followed the awarding ceremony of the company’s staff. There was read the Order of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine on awarding for many years’ conscientious work, high professionalism, noticeable personal contribution to Ukrainian electric power sector activity and with reference to professional holiday - the Power Engineer’s Day: the Excellent Power Sector Specialist of Ukraine title was given to Head of Contract Follow-Up Department Ms. T.M. Oleynikova, Deputy Head of Economics and Finance Department Ms. S.N. Buta, Certificates of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine - to other

For many years’ conscientious work and noticeable contribution to securing the company’s activity 65 staff members were awarded Certificates of SFTC Ukrinterenergo and 40 staff members were awarded a commendation.
In conclusion of celebration the staff members were heartily congratulated by the chairman of Trade Union Committee of Ukrinterenergo Ms. Tetyana N. Yegorova. Ms. Yegorova summarized the participation in recreative event
“Approve yourself - 2009”. The most active participants were given the certificates of Ukrinterenergo’s Trade Union Committee. The holiday feeling was shared by all present in the hall.

On the same evening, the company’s staff-members took part in the solemn meeting dedicated to the Power Engineer’s Day, held by the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine in October Palace. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Government, the Verkhovna Rada and the branch Ministry. The speech of welcome was made by the Minister of Fuel of Energy of Ukraine Mr. Y.V. Prodan. Ms. Y.V. Tymoshenko. After that, in a solemn atmosphere there was held the ceremony of awarding the branch employees. On behalf of Ukrinterenergo Ms. Lyudmyla I. Fedosenkova, Head of Economics Division – Head of Economics and Finance Department, was given the Certificate of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. At the conclusion of the event there was held the holiday concert with the participation of amateur art groups of the branch enterprises. Each performance was warmly received by the audience and greeted with prolonged applause.
